TrimixIPTV – One IPTV Subscription for Every Screen in the House

How to Set Up IPTV on Roku TV and Roku Players

Roku is the awkward one, and worth knowing about before you fit out a house with them. Sideloading is blocked outright and most of the players you would want are absent from its store. Two routes remain: the IPTV Smarters Player channel where it is carried, or mirroring from a phone or computer. Neither matches an Android device, so a Roku room is usually better served by a stick in a spare HDMI port.

What you need

Step-by-step setup

  1. Search the Roku Channel Store

Press Home, go to Streaming Channels or the search field, and look for "IPTV Smarters Player" or "IPTV Player". Add whichever the store is carrying.

  2. Log in with Xtream Codes

Open the channel, choose Xtream Codes login, and enter the username, password and server URL from your activation message.

  3. Alternative: mirror from a phone or PC

Turn on Screen mirroring under Roku Settings, System. Android uses Cast or Smart View; Windows uses Win+K. Play the channel on that device and the picture appears on the Roku, with some lag. It also ties up the phone, which is a real cost in a shared house.

  4. Best option: add a Firestick

For anything more than occasional use, a $30 Fire TV Stick in a spare HDMI port on the same Roku television is the honest recommendation. You get TiViMate, proper 4K and no mirroring lag, and the Firestick guide takes ten minutes.

Common errors and fixes

IPTV channels disappear from the Roku store

Roku removes IPTV channels from its store from time to time without notice. Mirroring carries on regardless, and support can tell you which channel name is current when you ask.

Roku IPTV FAQ

Can you get IPTV on Roku?

Yes, with genuine limitations. Roku blocks sideloading, so you are limited to the few players in its store or to screen mirroring. Both work with our login. For a room somebody uses daily, a Firestick or Android box is a much better experience for very little money.
