Step-by-step setup
Allow apps from unknown sources
On the Fire TV home screen open Settings, then My Fire TV, then Developer Options, and enable "Apps from Unknown Sources". Newer Fire OS builds hide this until Downloader exists, in which case it appears under Install unknown apps once you have finished the next step.
Install the Downloader app
Back on the home screen, use the search icon and type Downloader. The correct one is the orange app from AFTVnews. Open it once so it asks for storage permission, and allow that.
Download IPTV Smarters Pro
In Downloader, select the URL box and type the short link from your activation chat, or the official IPTV Smarters Pro APK address. Press Go. The file downloads and the installer opens on its own. Choose Install, then Done, then Delete to clear the APK off a device that has very little storage to spare.
Open the app and choose Xtream Codes login
Find IPTV Smarters Pro under Your Apps and Channels and open it. Accept the terms, then choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" in preference to any M3U option.
Enter your TrimixIPTV login
Name the profile after the room if you are setting up several, then enter the username, password and server URL exactly as sent. Press Add User. The channel list and guide download on first run, taking about a minute.
Start watching
Open Live TV, pick a category such as USA, Sports or Movies, and choose a channel. Holding select on the remote adds a favourite, and building that list per room saves a great deal of scrolling later. If a stream stutters, switch the decoder to hardware under Settings, Player settings.
Common errors and fixes
Downloader says the file cannot be downloaded
Re-enter the address carefully, or ask support for the alternative link. Then check that "Apps from Unknown Sources", or "Install unknown apps" for Downloader specifically, is genuinely enabled. That is nearly always the cause.
Login fails with "invalid credentials"
The server URL needs both http:// and the port, for example http://server:8080. A space pasted invisibly from the chat is the usual culprit, so type the username and password by hand rather than pasting them. Both are case sensitive.
Channels buffer in the evening
Turn on hardware decoding first. If the Wi-Fi reaching that room is weak, an Ethernet adapter does more for evening buffering than any setting in any app. Check too whether another screen in the house is streaming 4K at the same time, which is a common and self-inflicted cause.

Firestick IPTV FAQ
Which IPTV app is best for Firestick?
IPTV Smarters Pro is free and easiest to get going, which matters if you are installing it for someone else in the house. TiViMate has the better guide and layout but asks a small yearly or lifetime fee for Premium. Both take the same login, so you can run different players on different televisions.
Does IPTV work on the Fire TV Stick Lite?
Yes. The Lite runs the same Fire OS and installs IPTV Smarters Pro identically. It stops at 1080p, which makes it a sensible choice for a bedroom or kitchen set while the 4K Max goes on the main living-room television.
Can I use my TrimixIPTV login on the Firestick and my phone?
Install it on as many devices as you want; the login is the same everywhere. What a single-screen plan limits is simultaneous streams, so both stay signed in but only one plays at a time. Two people watching different things at once needs a two-screen plan.
