TrimixIPTV – One IPTV Subscription for Every Screen in the House

How to Set Up IPTV on an LG Smart TV (webOS)

LG televisions run webOS and have their own store, so this follows much the same shape as the Samsung route: a player from the LG Content Store, then your playlist attached by Xtream login or M3U link. Sets from 2016 onwards manage it without trouble, and the credentials are the same ones every other screen in the house uses.

What you need

  • LG webOS TV from 2016 or newer
  • LG account signed in
  • TrimixIPTV M3U link or Xtream login

Step-by-step setup

  1. Open the LG Content Store

Press Home, open the LG Content Store, choose Apps, and search.

    Get your TrimixIPTV login

  2. Install a player

Search "IPTV Smarters" or "Smart IPTV", install one, and open it from the home bar.

  3. Enter your TrimixIPTV details

IPTV Smarters: choose Login with Xtream Codes API and enter the username, password and server URL from WhatsApp. Smart IPTV: send your M3U link to the MAC address shown on the television, at siptv.app/mylist.

  4. Watch

Reopen the app and browse the groups. The up arrow on the Magic Remote brings up the channel list and guide together.

Common errors and fixes

Stream shows a black screen with sound

Sound with no picture is nearly always a decoder mismatch. Change the player to native or hardware decoding in the app settings, or move to the lower-bitrate copy of that channel, which exists for most sports channels.

LG Smart TV IPTV FAQ

Which IPTV app works best on LG TVs?

IPTV Smarters is free and handles the Xtream login with a full guide. Smart IPTV is lighter and noticeably stable but charges a one-time fee per set. Both run on webOS 3.0 and newer, so start with the free one and pay only if it disappoints.
